The Time Has Come!

The time has come for Grace to complete her first round of education and move on to the next.  Thanks to our fantastic post secondary education option in Minnesota, she will also be entering college with some 37 college credits already under her belt.  Grace has not only enjoyed her academic endeavors but also her musical endeavors.  This past year she was chosen to participate in the MN All State Band and the U of M Honors Band.  While her primary instrument has been the clarinet, she has also played the bass guitar, the saxophone, the bass clarinet, and the piano in various school bands.  Her accomplishments were recognized this spring as she received the Patrick Gilmore award alongside two of her talented friends.  We will send her off in the fall as she enters the honors program at SCSU.  Feel free to leave your comments here to congratulate and/or encourage her in her future endeavors.

  1. Grace, I'm so proud of you! Congratulations for all of your accomplishments! I hope you are just as proud of yourself as everyone else is! The best advice I can share with you is...know yourself. Spend time figuring out what your strengths are (and nurture those) and what your weaknesses are (forget about those...leave those things for the people who are good at them) and hang around the people you want to be like. I love you, Grace!
Love, Tammy Taylor...soon to be Tammy Christenson...your dad's cousin...the awesome one.
